ABSENCES & HOLIDAYS DURING TERM TIME
Please remember to email the school to ask permission from Miss Burns before booking holidays. Advance permission should be sought for taking your child out of school for other reasons e.g. Medical appointments.
PERMISSION TO ADMINISTER MEDICINE
If your child needs to take medicine during the school day please complete the permission form and return it to the school office. Download the form here Permission to Administer Medicine Form
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES ON THE SCHOOL DAY
All children who are arriving out of school arrival times must be brought to the office to sign in. Parents must not take the child to their class. If a parent needs to see a teacher or drop an item to their child please ensure you go to the office and not the classroom as this is very disruptive.
UNIFORM & TRAINERS
Please ensure that your child is wearing dark school shoes on non PE days. On PE days children should wear PLAIN DARK or WHITE trainers. They should NOT have coloured soles, patterns or lace. Thank you to the majority of parents who have purchased the correct uniform. Please save the coloured pair for weekends and after school. Please see the website for a complete uniform list.
FOOD FOR BREAK
For Break (morning or afternoon) children can bring one portion of fresh or dried fruit, one portion of vegetables or one serving of rice cakes/plain crackers. Please provide enough food for your child only. They may also have a bottle of water for the classroom. Please note Snack-a-Jacks are no longer Kosher.
Please remember sweets should not be brought in, only parev, supervised cakes or biscuits.
FOOD AFTER SCHOOL
Please do not allow your child to eat their ‘healthy’ snack in the foyer. Encourage all rubbish to be thrown in the bin.
PARKING OUTSIDE SCHOOL
Please take care when picking up your children to not block drives, even if you are just waiting in the car to pick up. Thank you.
Pupils are not allowed to wear any jewellery, apart from basic watches. Only plain stud earrings may be worn. For safety reasons jewellery should not be worn for PE, games or swimming and should be removed before coming to school.
