Our Vision

Kerem’s vision and values are shaped by the conviction that aspiration, effort and belief can transform dreams into reality — reflecting Theodor Herzl’s enduring message, “If you will it, it is no dream” – אִם תִּרְצוּ אֵין זוֹ אַגָּדָה.

We are a Modern Orthodox Jewish school committed to academic excellence, personal growth and a deep, joyful connection to Judaism. We educate confident, thoughtful children who develop a genuine love of Torah and mitzvot, a strong sense of Jewish identity, and the knowledge, skills and character to thrive in the modern world.
Jewish and British values are woven through every aspect of school life. We nurture a meaningful connection to Israel and its people, while preparing pupils to play an active and positive role in British society — now and in the future.

The Kerem Challenge Book

Each child at Kerem has their own Kerem Challenge Book – Little Acts, Big Impact – which invites them to engage with small but meaningful challenges that encourage kindness, independence, responsibility, and curiosity. The Challenges encompass each of the 3 interconnected principles which shape our approach to personal development.

Jewish life and learning

Jewish life at Kerem is lived, meaningful and deeply embedded in our daily practice. Through Jewish Studies, Ivrit and our enriched curricular and co-curricular programme, pupils develop a strong connection to Hashem, their community and Israel. Our vibrant approach nurtures children who are:

respectful, thoughtful members of both the Jewish and wider communities.

British Values at Kerem

Fundamental British Values are integral to life at Kerem and align naturally with our Jewish ethos. Through PSHE, assemblies, curriculum learning and daily interactions, pupils develop a clear understanding of:

tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.

Children are encouraged to engage thoughtfully with the diverse society in which they live and to become active, responsible citizens. This learning is enriched through commemorations, visits, visitors and real-world experiences that deepen understanding and empathy.
