Welcome to Little Grapes!

Little Grapes is our nursery provision for children aged 9 months to 3 years. From the age of 3, children join our pre-school nursery which is led by a qualified teacher and teaching assistant team. Children who are in Kerem Nursery have priority status for a place in Kerem Reception.

Little Grapes and Kerem Pre-School Nursery are housed within our beautiful Early Years setting in Kingsley Way, together with our Reception class. Surrounded on three sides by gardens and playgrounds, it is light-filled, secure and carefully designed for young minds to explore the world and develop a joyful love of learning and Judaism.

We believe Little Grapes Nursery offers something truly special: a warm, nurturing environment within a thriving primary school, benefitting from our experienced leadership, specialist teaching input, strong pastoral oversight and deep connection to Jewish values. From the earliest stage, each child will become part of the Kerem community – known, supported and gently prepared for the next steps of their journey.

To teach is to touch a life forever

I am delighted to be joining Little Grapes as Nursery Manager and to be leading this exciting new chapter for our Early Years centre.

I trained as an early-years teacher in South Africa and began my career in Jewish preschools before spending almost sixteen years running the preschool at a leading girls’ school in Cape Town. My career has since taken me around the world, including Taiwan, where I became Director of Tiger Tots and helped it grow into a thriving preschool community of more than 200 children.

More recently, I led Alyth Nursery in London and helped establish Apples and Honey Nightingale, an innovative intergenerational nursery. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage, safeguarding and regulatory requirements, as well as the richness of Jewish nursery life.

Throughout my career, my greatest priority has always been the happiness and wellbeing of every child. I believe that young children flourish when they feel safe, understood and cherished, and I look forward to creating a warm, nurturing and connected community for all our Little Grapes children and their families.

I cannot wait to meet your children and become a small part of their story in the very near future.

Hours and Fees

Little Grapes is open 49 weeks per year from 7.30am (early drop off/breakfast) to 6.30pm. We are closed over Peseach and between 24th December and New Year’s Day.

We offer both term-time and year-round nursery packages. Some families prefer care that aligns with the school day and calendar, but early drop-off, longer days and year-round provision is also available.

Choose the package that suits you best from the following options:

School Day 8.30am – 3.00pm – Term Time or Year Round
Full Day 8.30am – 6.30pm Term time or Year Round

What are your opening hours?

You can book breakfast and an early dropoff from 7.30am. Our normal opening hours are 8.30am to 6.30pm.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we offer sibling discounts and discounts to members of Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue. Periodically we may offer other promotional discounts. For more details, email admissions@keremschool.co.uk

Our fees for 2026-7, 5 days a week, 8.30am – 6.30pm are:

Little Grapes: Government Funding and Fees

Kerem is a registered childcare provider able to accept government funded hours. We will apply your entitlement (15 or 30 hours where eligible) during term time sessions.

Where session patterns fit entirely within funded hours, there is no charge for the childcare itself. Longer or additional sessions may include hours beyond the funded entitlement, in which case funding is applied first and fees for additional hours are clearly shown.

Little Grapes Additional Charges: Consumables and Enrichment

For funded Little Grapes sessions, we ask for a consumables and enrichment contribution of £13.75 per 5-hour session or £25.00 for a full school day. This contribution allows us to provide a calm, nurturing and fully inclusive day for all children, including hot Kosher lunches, snacks and meals, specialist teaching and enrichment activities.

Little Grapes Wraparound and Holiday Care for Term-Time only Families

For families choosing the school day/term time option, wraparound care (such as breakfast or late afternoon care) and holiday care can be added where required, depending on availability. We suggest you book holiday provision at your earliest opportunity to ensure that space is available.
